Prawn Pulao / Jhinga Pulav
So what makes this recipe delicious?
Obviously, prawns are the ones responsible for that, but along with this we have a list of other ingredients, such as;
Onions 5 medium size
Tomatoes 3 big size
Potatoes 4 medium size
curry leaves 7
Rice 2 glass
Jeera 2 pinches
Cardamom 2 big 3 small
Cinnamon 1
Bay leaf 1
Black pepper 7
Cloves 5
Ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon
Green chillies 11
Salt
Coriander powder 2 teaspoons
Jeera powder 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
Prawns 500g
Oil 4 teaspoons
Recipie:
First wash and clean the prawns and keep them aside.
Take a heavy pot and pour the oil; add jeera, curry leaves, bay leaf, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, and finely chopped onions into it.
Let the colour of the onions turn into nice golden brown; after that, add green chillies and potatoes.
Add ginger-garlic paste. Give it a nice fry; once done, you have to add tomatoes and coriander, turmeric, red chilli, and garam masala powder simultaneously, then let it fry for a minute on a low lame. Add a little water if the masala is sticking.
After the oil starts to separate, add prawns and let it fry in a masala for a minute.
Once done, add salt, water, and rice in a gravy and let the rice cook in the water properly.
Add some finely chopped coriander leaves and kasuri methi to enhance its taste.
After that you just have to serve your loved ones and just hear some hearty words. :)
